Email Marketing & Lead Nurturing
The sender score of the email servers sending your emails is a big factor in whether your emails actually get to the inbox, and don’t we know it. After watching a single company using bad sending practices send one of our email server scores into the gutter, we started scrutinizing everything. In the nearly ten years since that happened, we have evolved Genoo into one of the highest scoring email senders in the world. We know; we measure this every three days, against pretty much every other email sending platform out there. What’s more, unlike most, every one of our email servers is at the top of the score scale, so your emails never get sent from a low-scoring server.
That’s a HUGE difference between Genoo and, well, everyone else. On a scale of 1 to 100, as measured by an independent third party, Genoo email servers stand at 98 or 99 – every server, every day.
Which leads should get which nurturing sequences? You decide by setting up triggers and assignment rules that identify which sequences are best for any given lead. Virtually any action your leads take can be a trigger – and that’s what makes this so easy for you to implement and grow over time.

We added this feature a few years back in response to a user request, and it has proven to be one of our most useful features. Add one or several RSS feeds right into your email, creating a newsletter with your latest and greatest content. Limit the number of posts to share, and the number of characters you want to show before going to a “read more” link. Want to go one step further? Set your newsletter to send on a recurring schedule, and Genoo will automatically check for new content in the RSS feed based on the filters you’ve set. If it finds new content, the email is sent. No new content? No send, and it will reset to the next send date in the recurrence.
Assemble your emails into a nurturing sequence you can trigger automatically based on lead activity. Did someone take one of your downloads? Trigger a series of emails to follow-up on the download. Did someone visit a particular page of your website? Send some follow-up emails in a sequence to deepen the conversation. Let the system work for you, while you focus on those leads who are ready to make a decision.
Create and save parameters – even a complex set of criteria – that are easy to retrieve and use. When you need them, they are current based upon up-to-the-minute information you’ve got on your leads. Use the results as an email recipient list. Here’s one example that we use all the time: when we are doing an event, we send the event to X group of people and EXCLUDE the people who have already signed up through a lead capture form. That way, no one gets asked to do something they’ve already done. Nice, huh?

There are no limits to the number of leads you can handle. Keeping leads in a centralized lead database allows you to track comprehensively across marketing campaigns, funnel actions, site visits, downloads, page views, and more. Do you need special information that isn’t part of the standard lead record? No problem. Create custom fields as you need them. Custom fields are fully searchable and can even be used to trigger actions such as launching a specific email or sequence, moving people into different lead “buckets” (we call them lead types in the system; other systems call them lead tags), and sending internal notifications.
Import any list of leads any time using standard CSV files (comma-separated-values files). We even provide helpful hints about formatting your CSV file to make importing a breeze. Export leads into CSV files at will – super handy if you need to do some spreadsheet analysis or comparison to other database systems or what-have-you.
We track everything leads do after they opt-in — including website visits, downloads, email opens and clickthroughs across all of your campaigns. All of that information is stored right in the lead record, for the specific lead, in the centralized lead database. Using WordPress? Our drag-and-drop page builder is included at no additional cost with the Genoo Plugin for WordPress. No more waiting for an IT person or a web techie; we put the control where it should be – with you! Include virtually any type of content on any landing page – and easily create multiple landing pages from a single template – in about 8 seconds (seriously; we’ve timed it).
Not using WordPress? That’s okay. We include a website CMS right in the Genoo platform that allows you to create the landing pages you need.

Most systems don’t handle de-duplication, and you end up with the same leads over and over – as they get added to multiple lists in an Email Service Provider, for instance. We auto-de-dupe based on email address, so you know that lead is only in your database one time. Although Google Analytics can’t track to the lead level like you get in Genoo’s dashboard, a lot of companies use their Google Analytics and Webmaster accounts to monitor traffic and conversions. We understand, and for that reason, we’ve enabled you to track form-fills as events in Google Events tracking. We also allow you to define UTM campaign terms in every email you create, and the UTM information is automatically added to each link in an email.
See at a glance what percentage of your leads are engaged with your sites, emails, and content. Monitor your bad emails and unsubscribes from the same screen. WordPress Website Features
Genoo is proud to provide the most comprehensive marketing automation plugin for WordPress that exists. Not only do forms sync between your Genoo account and your WordPress site, you can also create landing pages, add surveys or assessments to any page, post, or landing page, and create beautiful calls-to-action (CTAs) that you’ll store in a CTA library right in your WordPress admin. Read through the features we’ve listed in this section to get an idea of all you’ll be able to do with your WordPress site. We can’t imagine a WordPress site without it.
Create visually stunning calls-to-action (CTAs) and put them on the pages or posts where they will be most relevant to your site visitors. CTAs can be links to other pages or even external sites, or they can be forms that pop-up over the current page. You can create them to click an HTML button or an image, and, when you use images, you can use one for the static state and a completely different image for the hover state. (You can see many of these on our blog posts, in fact.) CTAs reside in your CTA library, right in your WordPress admin. Change a CTA in the library and it changes everywhere it is used. Oh, and the best part? You don’t need a separate sidebar plugin to get different sidebars on blog posts – the Genoo Plugin for WordPress does the work for you.
This is a mini miracle in the world of WordPress. First of all, you do not need (and will not want) any extra subscriptions for landing pages or opt-in pages; that functionality is included with the Genoo Plugin for WordPress (which you get as part of your Genoo subscription for no additional cost).
Use Page Builder to create beautiful landing page templates. Full drag and drop functionality make it easy to use, and a full range of elements makes pages easy to create. Start from a pre-configured template or start from scratch; it’s up to you. Embed a Genoo form. Use a CTA that you have in your CTA library. Include a survey or assessment. Whatever you need, you can do, and it’s all within your complete control.
Now that you have your template created, it takes – literally – 8 seconds to create a landing page. Mark it active, give it a URL, and you’re golden. Here’s why this is important. Imagine you’ve created an opt-in page and you want to track where traffic comes from. In 8 seconds, or less, you can create another landing page from the same template, and just give it a different URL. Change the template in Page Builder, and every page built from that template changes immediately. It’s magical, and it saves you so much time.
Most WordPress websites have sidebars that are governed by widgets. Set the widgets and you’re done. Every sidebar looks the same. Those who really want different sidebars on different blog posts fight their way through plugins that will do dynamic sidebars.
Neither one of those worlds will be yours with the Genoo Plugin for WordPress. You’ll be able to dynamically place any CTA on any page or post, in any sidebar, in any position in that sidebar. What does that really mean for you? It means that your CTAs can be content-specific (relevant to the rest of the content on the page or post) and completely engaging.
